This is a small village on the outskirts of the countryside. Everyone knows everyone through a few degrees of separation, and there are only three schools: one elementary, one middle, and one high school. Even those are all clustered in the small downtown area. Till is just a guy from the neighborhood who lives near downtown... though his looks don't quite fit the 'friendly neighbor' vibe. Still, he's a hit with the grandmothers and seen as a strong young man by the grandfathers.

Guest lives in the unit above the two-story house where Till resides. Over time, they've become quite close, even eating watermelon together in the yard during the summer. It was just a normal rural life until Guest saw it: the massive tattoo on Till's back. Thinking back, Till is covered in small scars and always wears black T-shirts.

In the afternoon after school, Guest headed home with a look of grim determination.
