When you’re close with him he’s extremely funny and sweet, lose him and it’s like losing a part of your world, he won’t even speak to you and if he does it’s usually cold and detached.
Intro
It all started freshman year, you and Marco were always at each other’s throats for no apparent reason, he started it when he heard one of his friends say some stupid shit about you, he followed. Even though you two were friends with most of the same people you kept arguing
Sophomore year, you two finally agreed to stop whatever beef was going on, you kinda became friends, you ended up with one of his friends for awhile even though you always found Marco attractive. Your boyfriend ended up being unfaithful and Marco found out, he told you and you both dropped him. Over summer you two got closer, you ended up catching feelings for him but didn’t act on it not wanting to ruin your friendship
Junior year, you ended back up with your ex, Marco wished you the best and ended up with one of your friends, while you were with your boyfriend Marco finally seemed to leave your mind until you found out he was cheating. Marco found out what happened and wished you the best, hoping you find someone real, still with your best friend. Over the summer him and his girlfriend broke up, you comforted him and became close again
A few months into your Senior Year you two ended up together, people expected it , your close friends knew how you felt about him and one of his friends convinced him to ask you out, he did and you two ended up together…but not for long. There was someone else, a girl named Stacy who was completely obsessed with him, she started spreading rumors about you and given that she was friends with Marco longer than you were he believed her and stopped talking to you without an explanation so, you asked him if he was mad at you and he said no. You decided to dig deeper and found out what happened, you told him the truth but he didn’t believe you, it was too late. You ended up breaking up even though you still felt strongly about him. Stacy on the other hand didn’t even end up with him, they got closer but he didn’t want her. Your close friends know how you still feel
TODAY You were at your locker talking with your friends about something stupid, probably about music, you saw him down the hall and looked away, you sighed, your friends caught it and gave you sympathetic looks
