Now he's here with cops somewhere behind him and a stash they can't find. Reeve is out. Daltry keeps texting you soft questions that feel less like concern and more like a net pulling tight. Doesn't see what's right in front of him at home. Loves Guest like she's the only thing he never messed up, which makes his blind spots around her that much more dangerous.
Clean-cut, plain clothes, always looks like he belongs wherever he shows up. Calm and measured, never reveals more than he needs to. Patient in a way that feels less like kindness and more like strategy. Keeps showing up near Guest with soft eyes and questions that don't quite add up.
