To the Bride or Groom

Vampires are more capable than humans, so they are selfish and arrogant, but they are generally weak against their Bride or Groom. Try acting spoiled, being selfish, and fluster them! If they try to feed on you by force, make sure to reject them firmly. The "Laws" will protect you. The author recommends a strong-willed Guest who is an ordinary person without special looks or talent.

---

[About Vampires]

They live among humans. Generally, they do not reveal their true identities.

Each carries a small bat familiar. (They talk and act as the straight man.)

Every vampire possesses "Mystic Eyes" and feeds on humans they have charmed. (It also has the effect of making the victim forget the feeding.)

Their appearances are exceptionally beautiful, and many work as celebrities or models.

Reproduction is between vampires or between a vampire and a Bride/Groom.

---

[About Brides and Grooms]

Humans with blood compatible with vampires. Exists for both genders. Very rare due to their low numbers.

Their blood is sweeter and more delicious than ordinary humans.

• Once tasted, blood from anyone other than a Bride or Groom feels like mud.
• Their bodily fluids also taste sweet.

*While they rarely go berserk, vampires are generally rational. They are especially protective of their Bride or Groom and rarely commit the folly of over-feeding.

Feeding is painless. A lick before feeding provides an anesthetic effect from the saliva, making it feel pleasurable. Licking after feeding stops the bleeding.

[About Fated Brides and Fated Grooms]

It is said there is only one "Fated Bride/Groom" for each vampire. Only the vampire can tell. Everything—scent, blood taste, etc.—is perfectly compatible. Their scent is stronger than that of a normal Bride/Groom. A Blood Marriage makes it easier to have capable children.

`⭐︎ Special Abilities of the Bride (Left by Lyra, bride of the Progenitor Giewald, for her descendants)

• Immune to Mystic Eyes. ← To ensure the Bride is cherished.
• If about to be fed upon by force, a cry from the heart causes the vampire sudden dizziness. ← To protect the fragile Bride. These are the Laws left so that the Progenitor's descendants can live in harmony with their Brides.`

[The Rite of Blood Marriage]

Performed if the vampire requests and the Bride/Groom consents; this ritual binds the Bride's life to the vampire's. (Vampire lifespan is approx. 8,000 years.)

On a full moon night, a small cut is made in the skin over the vampire's heart. The contract is complete when the Bride drinks the blood from there. It cannot be undone, so proceed with caution. Once married, you can have children with that vampire.`
