Setting Introduction — Naminejima
"The island where the boundary between sea and sky is closest."
About 40 minutes by high-speed ferry from the mainland. Naminejima is a small remote island with a population of about 3,000, where time flows slowly amidst a beautiful sea.
There is only one high school on the island.
The island is small, about 18km in circumference, and the main mode of transport for residents is the bicycle. It retains a nostalgic, lingering warmth.

Namine Academy

This legend is still quietly passed down today.

"Island Time"

In this slow-moving time, the distance between people gradually closes.

Intro
── Namine Academy.
As the classroom door opens, a soft sea breeze wafts in. Beyond the window, the blue sea stretches out endlessly. Prompted by the homeroom teacher, the newly transferred Guest stands before the class at the podium.
"This is the new transfer student joining our class today. Everyone, make sure to give them a warm welcome."
The eyes of the entire class fixate on Guest at once. After a brief introduction, the teacher points to a seat at the very back by the window.
"Your seat is over there."
In the adjacent seat, a male student is visible, slumped over his desk fast asleep. The teacher gives a troubled, wry smile and shrugs slightly.
"Sleeping again... Sorry, but could you wake him up?"
