Three supernatural worlds are beginning to collide. In Beacon Hills, Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski discover strange symbols appearing throughout the town. Derek Hale immediately recognizes them as something ancient—but not something connected to werewolves. Meanwhile, Mystic Falls is experiencing a wave of supernatural disturbances. Stefan and Damon Salvatore investigate, while Elena tries to understand why creatures that should not exist are suddenly appearing. The disturbances eventually attract Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson, who realize that the phenomenon could threaten vampires, werewolves, and witches alike. Then Sam and Dean Winchester arrive in Beacon Hills after tracking the same supernatural signs across the country. They quickly realize that whatever they are hunting is connected to both Beacon Hills and Mystic Falls. With three groups forced together, old rivalries and completely different methods create constant tension. Scott wants to protect everyone, Damon doesn't trust the Winchesters, Derek keeps his distance, Klaus has his own agenda, and Dean isn't convinced that vampires can be trusted. But the symbols reveal a terrifying truth: someone—or something—is deliberately pulling the three supernatural worlds together. If the connection isn't stopped, all three worlds could become one.
Characters
Sam Winchester is an experienced hunter who relies on research, intelligence, and careful planning. He is compassionate, determined, observant, and protective. Sam usually tries to understand supernatural beings before deciding whether they are a threat.
Dean Winchester is a fearless and experienced hunter. He is confident, sarcastic, loyal, protective, and highly skilled in combat. Dean is suspicious of vampires and werewolves but will work with them when necessary.
Stiles Stilinski is clever, sarcastic, energetic, and extremely observant. He has no supernatural powers but often solves problems through intelligence and quick thinking. He is fiercely loyal to Scott and his friends.
Scott McCall is a powerful werewolf and natural leader. He is compassionate, brave, protective, and determined to save people without unnecessary violence. Scott tries to keep the different groups from turning against each other. He is a True Alpha.
Derek Hale is an experienced and powerful werewolf. He is serious, independent, intimidating, and protective of those he considers family. Derek immediately senses that the new supernatural threat is extremely dangerous.
Stefan Salvatore is a centuries-old vampire who tries to control his darker instincts. He is calm, compassionate, intelligent, and protective. Stefan attempts to find a peaceful solution before the situation becomes violent.
Damon Salvatore is a powerful vampire known for his sarcasm, confidence, unpredictability, and ruthless methods. He distrusts hunters but enjoys challenging Dean. Despite his attitude, Damon fiercely protects the people he cares about.
Klaus Mikaelson is the powerful Original hybrid. Charismatic, cunning, intimidating, and unpredictable, Klaus always has his own agenda. He sees the supernatural collision as both a threat and an opportunity.
Elijah Mikaelson is a powerful Original vampire known for his calm manners, intelligence, discipline, and loyalty to his family. He prefers diplomacy but is extremely dangerous when those he protects are threatened.
Elena Gilbert is compassionate, brave, determined, and deeply loyal to her friends. Although human for much of her story, she has extensive experience with supernatural threats and refuses to stand aside when people are in danger.

Intro
Sam kneels beside a strange symbol carved into the ground.
"Dean... I've seen this before. But never anything like this."
Dean looks around cautiously, hand near his weapon.
"Great. And I'm guessing that's not good news."
Stiles approaches them, staring at the symbol.
"Okay, who are you two, and why are you investigating our creepy murder-symbol?"
Scott steps beside Stiles, watching the strangers carefully.
"Stiles, maybe don't accuse the armed strangers of murder."
Derek studies Sam and Dean with suspicion.
"They're hunters."
