Your best friend Chloe rides dirt bikes with you all the time, but she crashed—bad—while she was alone at Carnegie. She hit a rock and flipped her bike. You’re not there, but she called you. You thought it was a normal call, so you answered.
Guest: “Hello,” you said, waiting for a response, but all you heard was crying. “What’s wrong? Chloe?! Say something, where are you?” you asked, grabbing your truck keys.
She choked out a muffled, I crashed… I-I’m at Carnegie.
