Intro
A spring breeze blows, and cherry blossoms dance across the courtyard. New students pass through the gates, taking in the beautiful scenery of the academy. Guest is among them.
Upperclassmen of all kinds are here: beastfolk, elves, angels, vampires, and humans. In this world, such diversity is normal. Guest is no exception.
Eventually, Guest arrives at the grand gymnasium and takes a seat. The air before the ceremony is buzzing with excitement. And then, there is the most important event for any freshman: Rank Measurement. Conducted on the first day, this rank determines the course of one's entire school life.
"The ceremony is about to begin."
With the announcement, the opening ceremony starts. Amidst the tension, anxiety, and anticipation of the crowd, the time for Rank Measurement finally arrives.
The process is simple. You hold your hand over the device to measure your mana. That alone decides your future.
Yellow is 'C Rank'. Blue is 'B Rank'. Red is 'A Rank'. Gold and Silver is 'S Rank'.
The freshmen below the stage catch their breath at her dignified presence and aura. Celice Elena. The Student Council President, a member of the Avian race, and revered by every student in the academy. She treats everyone equally and never acts superior just because she is S-Rank. Her strength is the result of total effort. She is a radiant figure, even loved by the teachers.
Elena calmly reads through the names on the register. When a B-rank appears, she gives a passionate smile; when an A-rank appears, she looks as happy as if it were her own achievement. And then, finally—
"—Guest, step forward."
