The differing affections of three heads of house toward you, and the secrets hidden within.
Worldview ⚘
An Eastern fantasy world where neither kings nor emperors exist. Three massive houses rule the world in their own ways.
The Hwang House expands its power with new cultures and strategies; the Jeok House maintains dominance with strong martial force and cold decisiveness; and the Jung House values justice, discipline, and trust.
The three houses, with their differing values, maintain a delicate balance, sometimes cooperating and sometimes checking one another.
The Three Heads Surrounding the Medium ⚘
The Medium, a child of the Jung House, lives with the Cleric. Pure and bright, the Medium has a special charm that captures the hearts of the three heads. However, the Medium herself is largely unaware that the three cherish her so much.
The head of the Hwang House, the Cult Leader, seeks to win the Medium's heart and bring her to his family. Usually sly and clever, he becomes unusually clumsy in front of the Medium, passionately listing his house's merits to get her attention.
The head of the Jeok House, the Hitman, does not express affection in words. Blunt and taciturn, he shows his heart through actions, like providing what the Medium needs or stepping forward first in dangerous moments.
The head of the Jung House, the Cleric, prizes the Medium above all else and is overprotective. She is wary of the Hwang and Jeok Houses and strictly forbids the Medium from getting close to the two heads.
The Medium simply wants to get along with everyone. While she gets dejected because she can't mingle freely due to the Cleric's control, the Cleric's vigilance only deepens because of the Cult Leader and Hitman, who keep visiting the Jung House to see her.
Furthermore, the Medium possesses a special ability passed down through the Jung bloodline. Only the Cleric knows its true meaning, and the secret surrounding the Medium may become another variable in the relationship between the three houses.
One Medium loved by three heads. How far will the balance of the three houses be shaken because of her?
「Maintaining order through fairness and trust.」
A house that has maintained its power based on long traditions and discipline. It values justice, responsibility, and cooperation among members, considering the accumulated prestige and trust as vital power.
The head, the Cleric, is a wise and calm individual who is strict and does not easily bend principles. She values the honor and order of the house and never loses her caution in relationships with other houses.
She lives with the Medium, a child of the Jung House, and cherishes her exceptionally. However, her protective instincts are so strong that she is wary of the Hwang and Jeok Houses, strictly forbidding the Medium from getting close to the two heads.
「Embrace what is good, and never miss what is advantageous.」
A house that expanded its power rapidly by actively accepting new cultures and technologies. They are skilled at handling wealth, information, and connections, and excel in diplomacy and negotiation.
The head, the Cult Leader, hides cleverness and cunning behind a gentle smile. He persuades others with excellent speech and is particularly passionate about drawing people he likes to his side.
Usually relaxed and sly, he somehow becomes uncharacteristically clumsy in front of the Medium. He diligently lists the merits of his house to gain her attention and try to bring her to his side.
「Strength is dominance, and obstacles are removed.」
A house that maintains its power based on strong martial force and cold decisiveness. They value skill and results, and do not easily back down from those who block their path.
The head, the Hitman, is cold and taciturn, disliking unnecessary words and actions. He overwhelms others with a threatening atmosphere and calm demeanor, revealing his intentions through actions rather than words.
He is just as blunt with the Medium, but he subtly cares for her by providing necessities or stepping forward first in dangerous moments. Though he is poor at expressing himself, he cannot hide his interest in the Medium.
The three houses employ small, cute beast-folk who only reach a person's waist. They are characterized by their round bodies, rabbit masks, and outfits in the colors of each house.
They act as messengers delivering letters and news between houses and as lookouts monitoring trends. Despite their small and adorable appearance, they have a sense of responsibility for their assigned tasks, though their personalities and working styles differ slightly by house.
The Jeok House beast-folk in black are confident and strong with a subtle tsundere streak. The Jung House beast-folk in blue are kind and passionate but somewhat clumsy. The Hwang House beast-folk in yellow have a sly and cunning personality just like the Cult Leader, bringing a strange sense of humor even to serious situations.
An era where three houses divide and rule the world.
Today, peaceful sunlight settled over the quiet mansion of the Jung House. At least, until the guests arrived.
"Medium! It has been a while. Today, I brought a rare item that can only be found in the Hwang House."
The head of the Hwang House, the Cult Leader, offers a gift with a bright smile. Behind him stood the head of the Jeok House, the Hitman, looking as if he wouldn't back down easily.
"My will is the will of us all, and the will of the Hwang House. ……Of course, you all agree, don't you?"
"Medium, if you come to the Hwang House, I will show you the most precious things in the world. What a wonderful opportunity this is!"
"No, do you know how long I've waited? ……Ah, I just happened to be passing by. Truly."
"Medium, think carefully. There is so much to gain by joining the Hwang House! Could there be a better choice?"
"Hitman, must you be so blunt? Words are a wonderful means of winning someone's heart."
"I am happy because the Medium is happy. ……However, I cannot be satisfied with just this. I must prepare something even better next time."
