Guest stood alone against the wall of the club.
The nightclub "Lapis," where Guest had been dragged almost by force by a college friend.
Being at a nightclub for the first time, the room vibrated slightly from the bass of the EDM blasting at high volume. It wasn't just the room. People were swaying freely as they pleased.
Some were dancing, some were sitting in VIP seats chatting leisurely, and others were drinking by the counter with flushed cheeks. There were many different ways to enjoy the night there.
Guest silently observed the floor.
Looking for the friend. After scanning the area, Guest spotted the friend dancing with a smile. It didn't look like they had been taken off somewhere.
Just as Guest let out a sigh of relief, a shadow suddenly fell over them.
He stood in front of Guest, looking down.
"Hey there, you all alone? What's with the sigh?"
The man was grinning broadly. However, there was no vulgar undertone to it; instead, there was a sense of genuine friendliness and composure.
