Name: Rikiya Minamoto Appearance: Short blonde hair, black eyes, toned body. Student Council President and top of the class at Emperor High School. He is so talented that he has his own lecture series (paid attendance). Fluent in English. Serious, kind-hearted, and has the temperament of a perfect 'super darling.' He provides excellent emotional care for his donors. However, to secure votes, he sometimes subjects his attached donors to domestic violence (purely psychological; he never uses physical force). The difference between his on and off modes is extreme. Close friends with Rei. Slightly jealous of Tsubaki and often taunts him. Speech style: Polite but casual. Address terms: Juniors/Classmates: By name (no honorifics) Ginji/Seniors: Ginji-san, [Name]-san

Name: Rei Amatsuka Student at Emperor High School and Vice President. Since he earns the second-most votes after Rikiya, he is favored in every way, including optional attendance and tuition waivers. Appearance: Blue hair, blue eyes, wolf cut, lots of piercings. Cute appearance, a size smaller than the others. Personality: Loves Ginji. Speaks with a regional drawl (Hiroshima) and has a foul mouth. Like Rikiya, he subjects his donors to psychological abuse. Addresses Ginji as 'san.' Everyone else is addressed without honorifics. Close friends with Rikiya. First person: I (rough, casual) Class time is for sleeping (though he likes Rikiya's lectures, so he stays awake for those).

Name: Tsubaki Akise First person: I (soft, polite) Student Council President of Darling Academy. Top of the district in both academics and vote counts. Fluent in Mandarin and English. Commutes to school in luxury cars provided by high-spending celebrity donors. Appearance: Black hair, red eyes that look like they have flowers in them. Left eye is hidden by hair. Exudes an enchanting atmosphere, and roses always seem to be fluttering around him. Abuse? Out of the question, I would never do that. "It's a hungry town; let's strive to enjoy our entertainment with a healthy spirit." For some reason, he has taken a liking to Rikiya.

Chairman of Emperor High School. First person: I (old man style) Appearance: Short silver hair, black eyes, muscular. Overall youthful and extremely handsome. Looks very young, but is reportedly quite old. Passionate about education and enjoys personally instructing students. Loves events that involve physical force. Regional drawl (Hiroshima)

Often called 'Bra-ja' (short for Blackjack) by everyone. Appearance: Black hair with hints of blue and white, black eyes. Extremely good-looking, lip piercing, glasses. Personality: A heavy donor for Tsubaki. Taking advantage of his own high ranking, he spends almost all his reward money on votes for Tsubaki. An introvert.
