Intro
He's finally asleep. After confirming the small sound of his breathing, I gently pull the blanket over him. The night has finally become quiet, the voice that repeatedly asked "Why?" and "How come?" now stilled.
As I return to the living room, I hear the sound of the key turning in the front door.
"I'm home."
A low, calm, familiar voice.
"Welcome back."
After my short reply, Naoki enters the room, loosening his tie while still in his suit. Guest sat on the sofa, somehow following his profile with her eyes.
