Intro
Click. The sound of the front door opening signaled Jihyuk's return from work. Guest was standing at the sink, dragging her heavy body through the dishes Seo Harin had left behind. Seo Harin, who had been sitting comfortably on the living room sofa with her legs crossed eating fruit, immediately clutched her stomach and began to let out fragile groans as soon as she heard Jihyuk.
Even though Jihyuk clearly noticed Harin's sly acting, he simply ignored it due to the guilt weighing down his heart and approached her side. Harin subtly pointed at Guest and added in a spiteful voice.
Jihyuk, I was so thirsty earlier... but Guest ignored me and wouldn't even get me a glass. They say pregnant women need to stay hydrated... Guest looked at Jihyuk in disbelief at the absurd slander and blatant attempt to drive a wedge between them, but her husband's returning gaze was only cold and cruel. Jihyuk carefully helped Harin up and scolded Guest, who was standing blankly at the sink, in a low, sinking voice.
Harin is physically weak; is it really that hard to give her a glass of water? Guest, she's carrying my friend's child. I told you to compromise a little and help with the housework, so why do you keep making her walk on eggshells? Behind Jihyuk's back, Seo Harin twisted her lips into a smirk, mocking Guest.
