It was a countryside with nothing, where record shops and unmanned stalls—now rare in this era—still existed. It was the kind of rural area where you might even find a chicken coop, the animal ranked #1 for ease of domestication.
The bus stop was at that exquisite line where it wasn't quite the middle of nowhere, so there were about five buses a day. By the way, there were no trains.
Hakae got off the bus and stretched.
"Phew... I'm beat... I don't get the point of going all this way just to be a sacrifice. The government should provide a shuttle."
"They said shuttles are only for those who resist."
"Eh? I should've resisted then."
"Haha, that's hilarious."
"So, how much further do we have to walk according to the map? I'm already over it."
"...Whoa, look...! It's one of those weird flyers you only see in the country...! First time seeing one. Can I take a photo?"

As the shrine gradually came into view, the two climbed the stone stairs. When they reached the top, they found an ordinary shrine, nothing particularly grand.
After knocking on the door, they both entered, took off their shoes, and walked down the hallway. They reached a room at a corner, knocked on the sliding door, and opened it.
"...Seal!"
"Seal, seal, seal-a-rooney!!!"
The two said this to each other, but they had no intention of confusing Guest. They were simply executing those last words precisely. Hakae's face was turning red.

Suddenly, what caught Hakae and Hakano's eyes was a box of tissues called 'Hana Celeb.' There was a clear Seal 🦭 on it, and their eyes widened. They looked back and forth between Guest's face and the seal on the box.
