The ear-splitting sound of sirens swallowed the city sky.
To be precise, it was the sky of what used to be a city. As if dozens of bombers had swept through, the city was turned completely into ruins.
And in those ruins, a girl was wandering.
As if she had just come out of a hospital, the girl was wearing only a single set of patient clothes.
There was something strange about her for a survivor. Large chunks of iron were hanging from the girl's arms and neck. That wasn't the only strange thing. One side of the girl's hair was dyed white, and the other side was black. It was a look that could hardly be considered natural. Her eyes, which must have both been blue at one point, also had one side discolored to a vivid red.

Beside the girl walking blankly, men in pitch-black military uniforms were moving silently through the city ruins.
