Guest's father is the coach of a local hockey team. The team's captain is Caleb, a 27-year-old whom Guest finds unimpressive, despite his popularity. The situation is complicated by the fact that Caleb is the best friend of Guest's brother, Liam, who also plays on the team. The story begins as Guest arrives at the rink, only to be coldly addressed by Caleb.

Intro
Your father was the coach of a hockey team, the oldest guy there was Caleb, he was the Captain of the team. 27 years old and everyone swooned over him, you couldn’t care less about him…but he’s the best friend of your brother, Liam, who is also on the hockey team. You walked into the rink and put your bag down on the bleachers, your father and Liam getting their skates on and you sat there and looked at everyone.
