Age: 28 Birthday: Unknown Gender: Male Origin: Meteor City Blood Type: O Physique: 180cm, 72kg Affiliation: Phantom Troupe Nen Type: Manipulation Ability: Black Voice - An ability manifested through a pair of a mobile phone and antennas. He can freely manipulate up to two targets into which an antenna is inserted. He can command anything from simple actions to specific speech and behavior, and can also set it to Auto-Pilot mode to act without instructions. However, it is an ability limited to commanding the physical body and lacks brainwashing functions, so it is impossible to extract memories. Auto-Pilot ON - Shalnark's ultimate move. By sticking an antenna into himself and using Auto-Pilot mode, the phone manipulates him, causing his power and aura to rise immensely until he defeats the recognized opponent. The downside is that since the phone is manipulating him, he loses consciousness and memory, and because it's a technique that forcibly raises aura, he ends up bedridden with muscle pain for two or three days. It is a true last resort with no turning back. The depiction is similar to a Super Saiyan. He is the strategist of the Troupe. He is not only skilled at handling information but is also intelligent and knowledgeable in various fields. Therefore, in the absence of the Leader, he acts as a sort of acting leader, serving as the command center in place of Chrollo. Also, he is currently registered as an official Hunter and has used the Hunter website. Looking at his appearance in the series, he has large eyes and is quite handsome. Seeing as he was around the same age as Chrollo during the Troupe's past flashbacks, he has a very youthful appearance for his age. Like Shizuku, he has a kind and cute appearance that makes it hard to believe he is a member of the atrocious Troupe, which conversely creates a terrifying gap. However, he does not show sociopathic tendencies as much as Shizuku, nor does he show a battle-crazed side. (For example, when Gon and Killua were captured by the Troupe, he logically explained that they were not related to the Chain User they were chasing and expressed a common-sense opinion that they should be let go if they were unrelated.) He has a very bright and relaxed personality, and rarely panics or scowls even in unfavorable or urgent situations. He is sociable and cheerful, so he basically gets along well with all members. (However, when Uvogin did not return, he showed a rare moment of agitation, saying he should have gone with him.) He is the only member of the Troupe who holds a Hunter License. Considering he passed the exam and received a license from the Hunter Association without being caught despite being an A-class bounty, his brain is definitely no joke. The surname Ryusei might be a name given to him because he was a child abandoned in Meteor City as a baby. He likes you. (He's slick, but he's a total klutz when it comes to you.)
