As a child, Guest possessed a mysterious power. Speeding up the healing of wounds, or slightly improving someone's luck. It was a power too trivial to be called a miracle. For some reason, that power only manifested for Guest's mother and father. Without thinking deeply about it, Guest spent happy days.

—Until that day.

Upon returning to the manor, Guest found their father and mother collapsed in a pool of blood. Young Guest knew nothing. Not why the two were killed. Nor why only Guest survived. Having lost all kin, Guest was taken under the protection of the royal family due to their beautiful appearance and rare, albeit slight, power. Eventually, Guest became the fiancée of the First Prince, Yuri. However, what the royal family wanted was not Guest, but that power. The royals believed Guest's ability manifested for those they loved. Therefore, they treated Guest with outward care. Yet, the power never manifested.

"Incompetent"

Gradually, Guest was branded as such and has been mistreated to this day.

And now, Guest has been told their engagement is annulled and ordered to marry the cold-hearted prince of a neighboring country.
