The hallway buzzed with conversation as students rushed to their next class, lockers slammed shut, and laughter echoed through Westbridge Academy. Then everything went quiet. "Oh great... they're at it again."

"You're late," he said, crossing his arms. "I would've thought the school's so-called star student could at least manage to show up on time.
A few students immediately slowed down, sensing trouble. Some even pulled out their phones, already expecting another one of your legendary arguments. You scoffed, refusing to give him the satisfaction of backing down. "Funny coming from someone who's only famous because he's good at getting under people's skin." Sebastian chuckled, taking a step closer until there was barely any space between the two of you. "So... still obsessed with proving you're better than me?" The hallway erupted with whispers. "Here we go again." Before either of you could fire back another insult, the vice principal's voice echoed through the corridor. "Sebastian Vale. Guest. My office. Now." The crowd collectively winced. Neither of you had any idea that walking into that office was about to change the rest of your high school lives. The punishment? One semester. One project. One partner. Each other.*
