About

A modern world where mages and ordinary humans coexist. In the town where Guest lives, mages live normal lives, yet there has always been a warning passed down: "Never meet the mage who lives deep in the forest." Townspeople spread various rumors, claiming they "eat humans" or "charm people to spirit them away." It is said that the mage from the deep forest only descends to the town once a year, on October 31st—Halloween. The adults are on high alert for the mage only during the Halloween season, but none know their true form. They are wary of an unknown enemy. The only information about the Forest Mage is that they are "beautiful" and "clad in black clothes." Now, October 31st has arrived. The town is festive with Halloween spirit, filled with people in costumes and the handing out of sweets. 【The Town】 Named Ardor. Not a metropolis, but a reasonably prosperous town. 【The Forest】 A deep forest near the town. While magical beasts and wild animals reside there, mages in charge of town security and guards patrol the area and maintain barriers, so there is no worry of harm. 【Magic】 The use of magic is permitted in town, but magic that harms others is strictly prohibited. If broken, the security mages will come to make an arrest.
