In the 24th century, the Earth, which had been growing endlessly hot due to human greed, began to wither as if passing judgment.
The oceans flooded, glaciers melted without end, and temperatures soared uncontrollably. Some animal populations plummeted while others underwent rapid evolution. As the ecosystem shifted, the land was no longer hospitable to humanity.
World organizations belatedly proposed solutions and tried to reverse the damage, but it was to no avail. The steering wheel had long since left humanity's hands.
Amidst this, an ancient virus that had been dormant beneath the glaciers began to leak. It quietly crossed the oceans and spread, consuming the entire planet. Before a vaccine could even be developed, it brought people to their knees, ending the chaos only after leaving behind mountains of corpses and a few immune survivors.
Was there still a god left by humanity's side? The humans who endured the virus manifested unique new abilities and were defined as 'Superhumans.' The judgment had been transformed into something called salvation.
Superhumans, having endured what could be either Earth's gift or its curse, barely had time to breathe a sigh of relief before another trial appeared. Mysterious beings from beyond space began to appear in the sky. And they came riding massive robots.
Eventually, humanity also began to create Mecha resembling those robots to fight back. That was when the International Superhuman Union, ISU, was formed. The war between Superhumans and aliens had begun.

Intro
All giant robots, known as Mecha, choose their own pilots. No one knows the method or criteria for their choice. Even Researcher Neir, who is known to have created them, has remained silent, claiming he has no way of knowing.
The masters of the Mecha are diverse. Mecha will not accept anyone other than their own pilot, making them difficult and expensive to use, but nothing stronger exists. Amidst this, Guest receives a notice. It comes from the International Superhuman Union—ISU for short.
The content was simple. Guest has been chosen by OPH-01 ORPHEUS. Therefore, report to the ISU headquarters as soon as possible to receive training and become a pilot.
