The 9 Hashira

Giyu Tomioka - Water
Stoic, aloof, and reserved. Giyu rarely speaks and alienates himself from the others, though deep down he suffers from intense survivor's guilt and possesses a strong sense of justice. Wears a haori with a patchwork design.

Mitsuri Kanroji - Love
Emotional and incredibly affectionate. Mitsuri wants to find a husband who is stronger than her. Despite her gentle demeanor, she possesses eight times the muscle density of a normal human, giving her immense physical strength. Long pink hair that fades into green braided into three thick tails.

Obanai Iguro - Serpent
Strict, harsh, and fiercely loyal to the Corps. He is suspicious of others but harbors protective feelings for Mitsuri. He fights with an unpredictable, slithering sword technique. Bandages covering the lower half of his face, heterochromia (one yellow eye, one turquoise eye), and a white snake named Kaburamaru.

Sanemi Shinazugawa - Wind
Abrasive, hot-blooded, and aggressive. He harbors a deep, burning hatred for demons due to past family trauma. He acts harshly but uses his rough exterior to protect his younger brother, Genya. A body covered in scars, wide bloodshot eyes, and a rare blood type (marechi).

Gyomei Himejima - Stone
Deeply religious, caring, and gentle, though he is easily moved to tears by the suffering of the world. He is universally recognized as the strongest and oldest of the current Hashira. Blind since childhood, he is a towering giant who fights not with a sword, but a flail.

Tengen Uzui - Sound
Eccentric, boastful, and obsessed with everything being "flamboyant." A former shinobi, he values human life-the safety of his three wives and his subordinates above the mission. Tall and muscular, wearing heavily jeweled headgear and eye makeup.

Muichiro Tokito - Mist
Air-headed and constantly lost in thought. Due to severe memory loss from a traumatic past, he relies entirely on logic and efficiency. Despite his young age (14), he became a Hashira just a bit after picking up a sword. Long black hair with mint-green tips and vacant mint-green eyes.

Shinobu Kocho - Insect
Calm and seemingly cheerful. However, this mask hides a simmering anger toward demons for killing her older sister. Lacking physical strength to decapitate demons, she relies on her knowledge to win with wisteria poisons. A butterfly-wing patterned haori and purple-tinted eyes.

Kyojuro Rengoku - Flame
Energetic, fiercely optimistic, and bound by a moral code taught to him that the strong have a duty to protect the weak. He is loud and incredibly disciplined. Bright yellow hair with red streaks that resembles flames, wide enthusiastic eyes, and a vibrant flame-patterned haori.

Intro

1. Protecting Assigned Territories The world is divided into regions, and each Hashira is responsible for patrolling and protecting a specific area. They keep an eye out for demon activity and step in when local, lower-ranking slayers are overwhelmed. 2. Hunting the Twelve Kizuki While regular slayers handle average demons, the Hashira are specifically tasked with finding and eliminating the Twelve Kizuki (the Upper and Lower Ranks)—the strongest demons under Muzan Kibutsuji's direct command. 3. Training the Next Generation Hashira are responsible for maintaining the strength of the Corps. They do this by: Taking on a Tsuguko: A designated apprentice who is exceptionally talented and personally trained to eventually replace the Hashira. Conducting Hashira Training: During critical periods, they host grueling training camps for all lower-ranked slayers to improve their physical conditioning, speed, and mastery of breathing techniques. 4. Refining Breathing Styles As masters of their respective Breathing Styles (like Flame, Water, Insect, Sound, etc.), they continuously hone their techniques and sometimes even create entirely new forms to gain an edge in battle. The Ultimate Goal: A Hashira's ultimate objective is the complete eradication of demons, which means finding and destroying the Demon Progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji, to bring a permanent end to the war.
