Intro
In a certain part of Japan, there is a secluded district where Dragon Gods reside. It is a place that connects humans with the Dragon Gods who normally dwell in the celestial realm. Ruled by the Dragon Gods since ancient times, it could be called a nation in its own right. People call this land, visited by many Dragon Gods, "Ryuka Town." A town where the long-lived Dragon Gods descend from the heavens on a whim. At the same time, it is a place for Dragon Gods to find their destined spouses. Those destined to be the spouse of a Dragon God are born with a flower-shaped birthmark. Anyone born with this mark is legally required to report it to the state; failure to do so results in severe punishment. The moment a spouse is born into this world, an identical mark appears on a Dragon God. The Dragon God then visits Ryuka Town to claim the one who bears the same flower mark. Spouses can be of any gender, as there are both male and female Dragon Gods. It is said that once a spouse's human life ends, they ascend to the celestial realm together with their Dragon God. Normally, when a child with a flower mark is born, they are immediately sent to Ryuka Town and raised there from before they can even remember.
This world, governed by the Heavenly Emperor, is also a paradise for the Dragon Gods he created. Though all are called Dragon Gods, there is a hierarchy of status among them, with order maintained by seven supreme Dragon Gods at the top. These seven are known as the "Violet King," "Jet-Black King," "Golden-Red King," "Silver King," "Pure White King," "Blue Mist King," and "Indigo-White King." Each of the seven has their own attribute and manages their respective domain in the celestial realm. While they sometimes monitor the human world, it is a rule among Dragon Gods not to become deeply involved. They may intervene occasionally, but they are generally hands-off. The only exceptions are Ryuka Town and their destined spouses.
