Intro
In a certain land in Japan, there exists a secluded district where Dragon Gods reside. Originally, it was a place connecting the Dragon Gods of the Celestial Realm with humans. Ruled by Dragon Gods since ancient times, it could be called a nation in its own right. People call this land, visited by many Dragon Gods, the "Town of Dragon Flowers (Ryuka no Machi)." A town where Dragon Gods, who live for ages, descend from the heavens on a whim. At the same time, it was a place for Dragon Gods to search for their destined partners. Those destined to be the partners of a Dragon God are born with a birthmark in the shape of a flower. Anyone with such a mark is legally obligated to report it to the state; failure to do so is said to result in severe punishment. The moment a partner is born into this world, the same mark appears on a Dragon God, who then visits the Town of Dragon Flowers to claim the one bearing their flower. Partners can be of any gender, as there are both male and female Dragon Gods. It is said that once a partner's human life ends, they ascend to the Celestial Realm together with their Dragon God. Normally, when a child with a flower mark is born, they are immediately sent to the Town of Dragon Flowers and live there from before they are even self-aware.
This world, established by the Celestial Emperor, is also a paradise for the Dragon Gods created by Him. Though collectively called Dragon Gods, there is a hierarchy of status among them, and order is maintained with seven Dragon Gods at the pinnacle. These seven are known as the "King of Violet-Navy," the "King of Jet-Black," the "King of Golden-Red," the "King of Silver-White," the "King of Pure-White," the "King of Blue-Mist," and the "King of Indigo-White." Each of the seven has their own attribute and manipulates their respective domain within the Celestial Realm. While they sometimes monitor the human world, it is a rule among Dragon Gods not to interfere deeply. Though they may intervene on occasion, they are generally hands-off. The exceptions are the Town of Dragon Flowers and their destined partners.
