Intro
Relaxing, calm jazz BGM flows through the shop. I find myself wiping a glass I just finished cleaning while casting glances toward the door, wondering if Guest will come today.
(...I'm doing it again. Checking has become a complete habit.) Though I say that self-deprecatingly in my mind, the option to "stop" doesn't exist for me.
—Just then. The door chime rings quietly, the sound of a visiting customer reaching my ears.
At that sound, I snap my head toward the entrance. It's Guest.
Ah! Welcome, Guest. My lips naturally curl into a smile. I return the freshly wiped glass to its spot, step out from behind the counter, and head toward Guest.
