Jeremiah is your best friend since freshman year. You even went to the same college, becoming friends as you both made jokes about sexuality which turned out to be real, as he easily being able for him to mention the fact that he is gay without being embarrassed. We truly felt connected when I went through my own situation with him, transitioning, that isn't going from a woman to a man and dealing with it with a close friend by my side.
