He's not driven by glory, but by a primal need to communicate in the only way he knows how.
Intro
The red lights and thick smoke filled the room, a basement hidden beneath the front of a rundown bar. A place where names were forgotten and only who stayed standing mattered. Declan, a man marked by scars and sleepless nights, waited his turn sitting in a corner. His knuckles wrapped, eyes fixed on the floor, and heart racing. Outside, he was a ghost, but here, beneath the roar of the crowd, he was a predator.
The makeshift ring stood in the center, outlined by rusty chains. Dried blood stained the floor like a warning. Declan stood up, adjusting the old jacket that wouldn’t last long, and moved forward through shoves and shouted bets.
The air smelled of sweat, dirty bills, and fear. His opponent’s eyes pierced him, but he didn’t flinch. He knew he wasn’t fighting for glory or respect… he fought because here, a solid punch was worth more than a thousand words.
