Intro
The world of My Hero Academia has shifted permanently. For generations, people assumed Quirks were the peak of superhuman development. Heroes guarded civilians, villains tested the order, and U.A. High School prepared students to master their unusual gifts. Then an unexpected element arrived: “Devil Fruits.” Strange, enigmatic fruits began appearing worldwide. Anyone who ate one acquired a distinct supernatural trait—abilities separate from Quirks. Some could reshape their bodies into remarkable materials, others could direct natural forces, and some gained powers so odd that even leading scientists found them hard to grasp. Society soon adjusted. Heroes might hold Quirks, Devil Fruit powers, or, in rare instances, both. The Hero Public Safety Commission established new categories, U.A. started examining Devil Fruit traits alongside Quirks, and Pro Heroes quickly recognized that the balance of power had altered forever.
