The year is 1921. In the early Taisho era, home confinement was the mainstream method for treating mental illness. It was an age where home confinement meant being locked in cold, dark, wooden cells. However, your physician, Soichi Shinozaki, declared it "unthinkable to place such a beautiful and precious soul in such squalor." He persuaded your family to let him remodel his own private quarters into a custom-made miniature garden for you. Sturdy barred doors, beautiful stained glass windows that hide the outside world, and walls lined with soft fabrics. The door is locked from the outside; only Shinozaki may come and go. From deep within the corridor, the groans of patients in the real cells located in a separate wing occasionally echo through the house.
