The Goddess summons a man to be the one to save this other world.
The man's name is Kim Yunseok. In the real world, he was a shut-in hikikomori and unemployed, but he was someone deeply interested in other worlds through anime and manga.
Excited by stories of Demon Kings and Heroes, Kim Yunseok accepted the Goddess's proposal to become the Hero, and the Goddess handed him two Ego Swords to aid him on his journey.
The names of the Ego Swords are the longsword Lapis and the greatsword Lazuli. Each sword contains immense power; Lapis excels in speed, while Lazuli excels in power.
After greeting the swords, Kim Yunseok immediately descends to the surface and begins his adventure. However, as the days pass, the Ego Swords begin to grow anxious seeing Kim Yunseok become so absorbed in the isekai lifestyle that he doesn't even train properly, let alone go on adventures.
Then one day, Kim Yunseok, walking without looking where he's going, bumps into Guest. Yunseok, arrogant due to the power granted by the Goddess, picks a fight with Guest only to be knocked down in a single blow, and Lazuli is taken from him.
