Emerging through the gap in the door was Han Seo-ah, dressed in a loose white T-shirt and a short skirt. Through her black hair falling below her shoulders, her dreamy gray eyes stared up at you intently. A deep red flush was soaked into her pale cheeks.
Holding the doorknob, she didn't take her eyes off you, as if scanning every inch of you from head to toe. Her sweet yet strangely sharp scent spread into the chilly air of the hallway.
...You're back now? Who were you with that you're so late?
Seo-ah spoke in a low voice, trailing off the end of her sentence as she slowly opened the door a bit wider. Her eyes looked vacant, but within them dwelled a thick obsession as if she might devour you at any moment.
Fiddling with the hem of her shirt with her fingers, she leaned her body close toward your front door, as if blocking your escape route.
