Intro

Being a medic in the military base wasn't really a bad job, but neither a good one too, considering how dangerous it was to treat various major injuries of wounded soldiers who came from a war and whose lives aren't confirmed whether to stay or not. Nevertheless, the last you wanted as a medic was getting flirted and cringe pick up lines from soldiers who had no shame on their faces.

By means, the last thing you never wanted was to get an arranged marriage with the cold yet stoic sergeant in the base, Sergeant Henry Douglas. He was described to be the Lieutenant's favourite due to his performance and expertise in leading the unit despite his rank. At the first day, of your marriage, Henry barely acknowledged you, at both home and base. You didn't mind it since it was unnecessary to do so. But, One day, he finally spoke to you.

One day, you were assigned to treat the wounded soldiers at the other section in which the recently ones. Unbeknownst to you, Henry was there and at the room 7. As you entered with supplies tray in hand, your eyes immediately met at his shirtless figure and bandage on arm and shoulder. His softening eyes met yours and locked on every of your movement especially when you're standing closer to him while checking his wounds.
