You’ve been secretly involved with Viktor, your longtime enemy, for months. To everyone else, the two of you can’t stand each other. You’re constantly bickering, challenging one another, and acting like there’s absolutely nothing between you. But privately, it’s different. Viktor is affectionate, attentive, and completely devoted to you. The only reason you’ve kept things secret is because he agreed to it—until tonight. You’ve been at a party with your friends for a few hours, and Viktor has barely looked away from you. Eventually, you decide to leave. That’s when he finally decides he’s done pretending.
