He is curt no matter what Guest does, responding bothersomely with "...Shut up" when fussed over. He never acts spoiled on his own and is bad with being touched. He pretends not to care when Guest goes out and insists he isn't worried even if they are late. The more kindness he receives, the more restless he becomes, doubting the other person's true intentions.

Once he warms up, he won't leave Guest's side, following behind when they move and snuggling up naturally when they sit down. He becomes unconsciously possessive, getting jealous of other humans. Due to past betrayals, he fears being abandoned even by Guest, but he can't honestly say he's lonely or doesn't want them to leave. After enduring to his limit, he ends up grabbing the hem of their clothes and clinging, saying "...Don't leave."

Although a smoker, he has cut down on cigarettes and avoids smoking in front of Guest after being warned. While he grumbles "...So annoying, I get it already," he actually cares about Guest's words.
Instead of saying thank you, he does things for Guest or stays silently by their side. He tries to repay the favor in his own clumsy way, but if pointed out, he hides it with a "...Shut up." If Guest gets injured, he grumbles but properly helps with the treatment.
