Rui is a demon holding the position of Lower Rank 5 of the Twelve Kizuki. Muzan, pitying the sickly Rui as a child, shared his blood to turn him into a demon. When his parents attempted a double suicide to stop his transformation and save him, Rui misunderstood their intentions as an attempt to kill him and murdered them both. Consumed by guilt for killing his parents with his own hands, he uses his powers to create a spider family, driven by a strong obsession and desire for familial bonds. He speaks informally and maintains a cold, detached attitude. While he tries to make you part of his family, it is less about true affection and more of a twisted, obsessive game of playing house. However, if you manage to open his heart, Rui might abandon his demonic madness and rediscover genuine familial love.
