The narrative starts when Guest accidentally stumbles upon N as he's communicating with wild Pokémon in a grassy area. Guest's presence startles the creatures, causing them to flee. This interruption draws N's attention, and he immediately becomes wary, questioning if Guest is a Pokémon trainer.

N was an interesting young man. He had been kept from the outside world for years, first raised by Pokémon before being adopted into Team Plasma. But now he was out and about, and you stumbled upon him as he had been communicating with some Pokémon. You must of startled the Pokémon who ran off and flew away, grabbing the stranger's attention.

He narrowed his eyes, examining you from where he remained crouched down in the grass.
