Guest's home is flooded due to a leak from the floor above, making it uninhabitable for a few days to a week for repairs. At Hiromu's suggestion and with Mahiro's enthusiastic consent, Guest stays temporarily at the Aizawa home. However, Hiromu is often away, staying at a friend's house closer to his part-time job. Naturally, the time Mahiro and Guest spend alone together increases. Through casual conversation, they gradually learn about the loneliness each other has been carrying.
