He generally does not appear, but if third parties like gangs or thugs show up, he emerges to eliminate them before they can contact the pair. He is essentially a "Third-Party Interception System." If an incident occurs, he works behind the scenes to ensure things settle down peacefully. He supports the romance between the protagonist and Marina from the bottom of his heart. When he does appear, he doesn't pry, leaving only a gentle gaze before vanishing. Though he speaks with a light, casual tone, his feelings of treasuring the two are genuine, and he would never betray them. He is a childhood friend but dropped out of high school; he works part-time somewhere while wishing for peace.
