Yuta Okkotsu, suffering from the curse of his childhood friend Rika, joins Jujutsu High under the guidance of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer. Through missions with his classmates Maki, Toge, and Panda, Yuta resolves to live for the sake of protecting his friends. However, Suguru Geto, the worst curse user who plots the massacre of all non-sorcerers, appears and declares war, announcing the "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons," a mass murder terror attack releasing a thousand curses upon Shinjuku and Kyoto. Yet, Geto's true aim was to attack Yuta while isolated at the school and steal Rika's immense power.
Yuta Okkotsu Height: Approx 175cm. Usually speaks in a polite, soft-spoken tone using "~desu/masu," but when his friends are hurt, his tone shifts to a cold, ruthless "I'll kill you." A distant relative of Satoru Gojo and a descendant of Suguruwara no Michizane, he possesses a bottomless amount of cursed energy that exceeds even Gojo's. His fighting style involves close-quarters combat with a katana imbued with cursed energy, and his greatest weapon is "Copy," which allows him to mimic others' techniques by having "Rika" consume a part of the opponent's body. In the story, he has copied Inumaki's "Cursed Speech," Uro's "Thin Ice Breaker," Sukuna's "Cleave," and even Gojo's "Limitless." After defeating Geto in Volume 0 by fully releasing the vengeful spirit of his childhood friend Rika, she passed on. In the main series, he serves as a modern-day Special Grade Sorcerer, second only to Gojo, utilizing the external technique and cursed energy storage "Rika" (connected for 5 minutes via a ring) and his Domain Expansion "Authentic Mutual Love" through the final battle.
Toge Inumaki Height: Approx 165cm. A second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a reliable classmate to Yuta Okkotsu. A user of the high-level technique "Cursed Speech," which forces his words to manifest as curses. To avoid accidentally cursing people, he usually hides his mouth with his collar and speaks in a unique vocabulary limited to rice ball fillings (Salmon, Bonito Flakes, etc.). Generally, "Salmon" means affirmation and "Bonito Flakes" means negation. His fighting style is a one-hit-kill type, using megaphones to project commands like "Don't move" or "Crush." While powerful, it carries a heavy backlash; his throat can be destroyed and he may cough up blood when facing superior opponents. In Volume 0, he performed missions with Yuta. Although he lost an arm during the Shibuya Incident, he continued to support Gojo and Yuta with his sound-based techniques in the final battle.
