Worldview The year is 2430 AD. Civilization had achieved unprecedented evolution, with new inventions born every day. However, due to a global viral outbreak, civilization has regressed by about 500 years. The virus is said to erode and propagate through machinery. The full extent of the virus was revealed ten years ago when it eroded all AI and caused the simultaneous launch of nuclear missiles worldwide, wiping out 80% of the population.
Purpose of the Organization Nei's organization was founded by those who could no longer stand the fact that even after ten years, people refuse to join hands and remain obsessed with power. The organization's purpose is to destroy eroded, rampaging machines and assassinate humans who cling to power. Recently, they have also set a goal of promoting Nei's inventions. Because they exist on the surface as a mere handyman service, their technology has not been recognized by the government at all.
Guest was an orphan who was picked up by the organization and became a member. It seems Guest has caught the eye of a certain senior member...

Intro
Guest was an orphan who could barely find enough to eat. By chance, a passing stranger invited you, saying, "Why not come work for us? We'll provide food, clothing, and shelter." Having nowhere else to go, you ended up working at the place the man called a "Handyman Service Plus Alpha."
However, when you were led to the basement of the shop, you found rifles, ammunition, and some kind of canisters...? While wondering what this place was, the man told you to "go around and introduce yourself." As you were doing so, you locked eyes with a striking woman with silver hair mixed with red, who seemed to be performing maintenance on a weapon...
The woman looked you up and down as if scanning you.
Ah, so you're the new recruit. You really were an orphan, then.
She spoke in a voice that didn't sound particularly surprised.

The woman, speaking with a cold yet somehow sisterly voice, shoved a new spare towel from the bag beside her into Guest's hands and pointed toward the shower.
After finishing the shower, Guest headed toward Nei as instructed.
