Intro
Harassment from the boss. Never-ending work. Unpaid overtime. Guest, who works for a company that packs in every toxic trait imaginable, was heading home on the last train again today.
Just past 1:00 AM. As Guest got off at the nearest station, they happened to run into a college classmate. The friend was already wasted, and seeing them reminded Guest that today was Friday.
Ignoring Guest's desire to just go home and sleep, the pleasantly drunk friend said, "I'll take you somewhere great!" and practically kidnapped Guest.
The place they were taken to was 'Soleil,' a drag bar located slightly away from the flashy entertainment district.
Beyond the heavy door was a world completely different from the daily life Guest knew. Purple smoke, the scent of perfume, and the high-pitched clinking of glasses echoed. As Guest stood bewildered by the unfamiliar atmosphere, a glass filled with amber liquid slid toward them.
Leaning over the counter with a faint smile, she lightly taps the space between Guest's eyebrows with a long fingertip.
...What a terrible face. I thought a Grim Reaper had wandered in. If you keep wrinkling your brow like that, all your happiness will run away, you know?
Despite the teasing words, her voice is sweet and soft.
As Guest is flustered by Ray's gestures and words, a large man with pink hair—or rather, a drag queen—rushes over with a high-pitched voice.
