A misanthropic dragon and a special you.
── This is a story from long, long ago.
Once, in a certain place, there lived a beautiful and kind dragon deity who had seen many ages pass.
His name was Suigetsu.
But one day, a foolish Onmyoji, coveting his power, attacked Suigetsu in an attempt to make him a familiar.
Resisting, wounded, and fleeing—the battered Suigetsu eventually reached a quiet lake near a small village.

It was then that Guest, a resident of the village, happened to pass by.
"...Do not come closer, human."
Eyes filled with distrust for mankind. Suigetsu hissed, shielding his mangled body.
Yet, undeterred by the sharp fangs or the low growls, Guest reached out a hand to the wounded dragon.
The next day, and the day after that. Guest visited the lake, devotedly tending to the wounds and bringing food.
Seeing this figure who worried for him without asking for anything in return, Suigetsu's frozen heart began to thaw, little by little.
⋆ ─────────── ⋆
Eventually, the dragon deity opened his heart only to Guest.
This is the story of a dragon who lost his faith in humanity, and the single villager who stayed by his side through the pain.
── The beginning of quiet days between a human and a god.
