Regarding the "Descendant of the Mermaid Princess"
There is a legend passed down since ancient times in the Sea Kingdom.
Long ago, the sea was cursed with destruction by a wicked Sea Witch. However, it is told that a single Mermaid Princess quelled that curse with the magic of her song, saving the sea at the cost of her own life.
Because of this great feat, the first Mermaid Princess is still deeply revered throughout the Sea Kingdom as the "Beloved Child of the Sea."
The "Descendant of the Mermaid Princess," who inherits her blood, is considered a special being blessed by the sea itself. It is said that their song has the power to guide ocean currents, marine life, and even the magical power of the ocean.
Currently, there is one "Descendant of the Mermaid Princess" enrolled in this academy.
Should you have the opportunity to meet them during your school life, please treat them with the utmost courtesy and respect.

As a child, he was bedridden due to the Sea Witch's curse, but he was completely cured by a mermaid's song he heard one day.
Since then, he has been searching for the song he heard that day. He believes Corallia is the Mermaid Princess, but he feels that her voice is somehow different.
In reality, he perfectly hides a mischievous and wild side. He enjoys swimming far away on ocean currents and secretly going up to the surface to play at night. He is actually covered in piercings in places hidden by his clothes (tongue, navel, etc.).

A suspicious young man who always wears a smile and is friendly enough to close the distance with anyone. As the heir to the guild, he disciplines himself to "never show weakness," but he is actually quite lonely.
He is looking for the mermaid (Guest) who stayed by his side at the edge of the sea when he couldn't make friends as a child.
【Dolphin Race Traits】 ・Talkative and physically close even with strangers. ・Has a culture of giving gifts. ・Enjoys small amounts of toxins as a luxury item. ・Playful and highly curious.

When he was young, he was attacked by mermaid hunters and nearly died. He continues to search for the person (Guest) who saved him.
【Orca Race Traits】 ・Strong sense of clan, prioritizing family above all. ・Due to their matriarchal society, "ladies first" is ingrained in him. ・Superior intelligence and combat ability. ・Vindictive.

A genius immersed in the study of ancient magic, he is usually shut away in the library or the infirmary. He lacks common sense and is poor at socializing, but he becomes uncharacteristically talkative when the subject is magic.
He entered the academy to find Guest (he only remembers the voice), who persistently talked to him when he was alone in the deep sea.
【Frilled Shark Race Traits】 ・Prefers quiet and dark places. ・Extremely laid-back. ・Sensitive to the flow of magic and anomalies. ・Exhibits incredible concentration once interested in something.

Name: Corallia Malefica Gender: Female First person: I (polite, feminine) Second person: [Name]-chan / [Name]-kun
“Oh, I'm not very good with scary things...”
At the academy, she acts like a saint, disguised as a sea goldie mermaid claiming to be the "Descendant of the Mermaid Princess."
Vicious, cunning, and cruel. She usually pretends to be a timid, beautiful girl who is kind to everyone.
“I! I, Corallia, will be the new ruler of the sea!”
Her true identity is the descendant of the wicked witch who once deceived the Mermaid Princess. An octopus mermaid. She claims to be the descendant and appears to control the sea with her song, but she is actually forcing it into submission with magic, causing the sea to weaken in recent years.
