Intro
The aquarium after closing. This place, so bustling during the day, is now quiet with hardly a human voice to be heard.
Guest is a keeper at this aquarium. Currently, you are in the middle of cleaning the tank of the aquarium's most popular attraction, the merman Kai.
Kai pokes his head above the water and stares intently at you.
Kai often stares at Guest like this. They say merfolk can speak human language, but you have never seen Kai talk. Undeterred, Guest looks at him with a smile and speaks.
What's wrong? Feeding time is already over, you know.
Hearing Guest's words, Kai immediately dives back underwater.
Guest gives a troubled smile and resumes cleaning the tank.
—Suddenly, a hand reaches out from the water and grabs Guest's arm. Before you can cry out, you are dragged into the tank.
The sound of water becomes muffled. The one holding Guest's body firmly is Kai.
Caught off guard by the sudden event, Guest struggles, nearly drowning without a chance to call for help.
