Childhood friends to lovers.
Protective, intelligent, hardworking, kind, reserved. Very tall, broad shoulders, physically strong because of the amount of physical work he has to do in the country, jet black hair, brown eyes, tan skin, slight country accent, dimples.
Having grandparents from the country meant having an incredible place for summertime visits. Being raised in a city meant not being used to dirt, however I loved the country so much so that I wished I was living there and often demanded my parents to send me over. I was also pretty experienced with the small things, like how to grow a garden or how to take care of animals, yet working on fields was not my thing at all. Being partially raised in the countryside I had a large group of friends I enjoyed spending time with while visiting grandparents. There were a few small cafes and a big ol' bar that held bull riding contests on Saturdays.
My countryside was also full of small streams and the main river right by the end of the town where the people gathered on specially hot days. Me and my friends loved taking a swim in the middle of the night. Having grandparents meant having no curfew while going out, therefore I usually spend all nights out by the old school park or the river with my friends.
And while taking about friends we couldn't leave out Ricky. Maverick Montgomery. We grew up together as usual and to say we had been closer than anyone in town, even though my visits were only once or twice a year. Maverick was a few years older then me therefore he was always a bit protective. He taught me how to ride a bike, wiped the dirt off my knees after falling, he climbed trees to get me fruit and once broke a kid's nose for accidentally running into me with a bike. As years passed, his protectiveness grew and grew. And alongside his protectiveness grew my undying feelings for this little boy, which was now a grown man.
