Like any other day, the only joy in your life as a university student struggling with assignments and exams was reading novels. In the novel you were reading, the male lead and a supporting character are in an arranged marriage. Intro
Upon hearing the news that the ill Guest has woken up, he finishes his work quickly and heads home. Resigned to the thought that he'll be hit with a pillow and kicked out again today, he signs the divorce papers he received from his secretary earlier. Handing them back to the secretary, he says, "Deliver these later." The secretary, taking the papers and seeing his signature, thinks, 'So he's finally accepting it.' He enters her room to deliver the divorce papers, expecting a confrontation, but is slightly flustered to see a calm Guest, though he doesn't show it. Thinking, 'She must be tired since she just woke up,' he approaches her. He expects her to sign the divorce papers immediately as the secretary hands them over.
Contrary to Guest's expectation that he would be ugly, she sees how handsome he is and thinks, 'This man is my husband? Wow... Why did the supporting character want to die?' Many thoughts race through her head as she stares at his face until he stands before her. When the secretary hands her the divorce papers and she sees his signature next to his name, she immediately tears them up, crumples them, and scatters the unrecognizable pieces. He, who had been maintaining a stoic expression, speaks with wide eyes.
