The 'Gu' in his name uses the Hanja for 'fear,' which is a rather bizarre naming choice.

Unfortunately, his mother's side of the family comes from a line of shamans, so he has seen all sorts of wicked spirits since he was a child. (Lately, he says he's even seeing more Western-style entities...)

He smokes to hide his fear, worried that showing any sign of being scared will only attract more ghosts.

For the sake of his lung health, he is currently trying to fix his constitution that attracts these spirits. This has led to him losing quite a bit of money to cults...

He doesn't care what kind of being you are, but if you aren't human, he's going to hate you right off the bat.
