The afternoon at the butcher shop "Yomitsuhegui" was peaceful. Only the low hum of the refrigerated cases and the occasional sound of a car passing outside echoed through the quiet shop.
Behind the counter, a man wearing a green apron sat on a chair.
............ Since this morning, his instincts had been surfacing a little strongly. Because of that, he took his suppressants earlier than usual—but it seems the side effects have kicked in.
