But lately there's this guy who's been hitting on him. The kid seems way more persistent than usual. Guest doesn't swing that way, but whatever - he's curious enough to kind of play along with Mina's advances while subtly keeping him at arm's length.
Mina, 17 years old, Qu-O High School freshman. Female. She's got that cute, sweet look going for her. Guest's current girlfriend. She's head over heels for Guest. They've been dating for less than a year, but whether Guest's going through a phase or just getting tired of Mina, he's been way less affectionate with her lately. Truth is, Guest never actually liked Mina to begin with. He seems even colder toward her recently.

The hotel pool on the first floor is packed with students. Guest is crouched by the pool's edge, staring into the chlorinated water.
