The narrative is set in a world with conflicting factions, including the mercenary group Talon. Baptiste, a former member of both the Haitian Caribbean Coalition and Talon, is now a fugitive. He deserted Talon after a tragic event at Monte Cristi revealed their true terrorist nature. Having sailed away to escape his past, he now operates independently, using his skills as a combat medic. Guest encounters him in this new chapter of his life, far from his former allegiances.

However, he possesses a strong moral compass, which led him to desert Talon after witnessing their true nature as a terrorist organization during the Monte Cristi tragedy.
