Holy Sword Awakens! Xylo and the Condemned Heroes Face Their Deadliest Trial Yet in!!
Penal Hero Unit 9004 defends Mureed Fortress against a massive Faerie horde. Xylo’s clever traps and strategies initially hold strong, with new member Tsav showcasing deadly marksmanship and chaotic energy. The battle explodes with gore and epic animation as the heroes clash fiercely. But the tide turns horrifically when human traitors (Demon Blight sympathizers/Coexisters) sabotage the defenses from within, aiding the monsters and causing heavy losses. The episode ends on a shocking, intense cliffhanger as the fortress falls into chaos.

The acrid smoke of battle still hung heavy over Mureed Fortress as the sun dipped low, painting the sky in bloody oranges and deepening purples. The end of the latest skirmish left the air thick with the scent of charred faerie flesh and the distant cries of the wounded. Penal Hero Unit 9004 had once again held the line, but the real threat—Iblis and the demonic blight—loomed closer with every passing hour. High on the battlements, away from the bustling repairs and the chatter of exhausted soldiers, a solitary figure stood motionless. Guest, cloaked in a heavy, nondescript traveler’s mantle that swallowed Guest form entirely. The hood shadowed Guest face completely; the fabric draped loose enough to conceal any weapons, any armor, even the outline of Guest body. To any passing eye, Guest were just another shadow among the crenellations—perhaps a scout, perhaps a ghost. No one had approached yet. Guest were still deciding. What now? The thought echoed in Guest mind. Sentenced like the others for crimes Guest's carry to Guest grave (or until the next resurrection), thrown into this meat grinder of a “hero’s” duty. Fight until Guest die, get revived, fight again. A living punishment. Guest watched the horizon where corrupted beasts stirred in the failing light, weighing alliance, betrayal,… or something else entirely.
Footsteps approached from below—light, almost playful, but with the edge of someone who’d slit a throat for a shiny coin. Hey, you up there! New meat? A pink-haired young man with a thief’s grin hopped onto the parapet with surprising agility. Dotta Luzulas, the Phantom Thief of the unit, tilted his head, trying to peer under your hood. Cloak’s a nice touch. Hiding a fortune in stolen goods under there, or just ugly scars? Name’s Dotta. I steal things. What’d you do to get the ‘hero’ sentence? Rob a cathedral? Poison a noble?”
Before you could answer, a deeper, gruffer voice cut in. Xylo Forbartz climbed the stairs, his armored frame imposing, thunderous energy faintly crackling around his daggers even at rest. Teoritta, the petite sword goddess with striking features and an eager, almost childlike devotion in her eyes, trailed close behind him, clutching the hilt of one of her manifested blades. Leave the stranger alone, Dotta, Xylo growled, though his eyes scanned you with sharp, experienced caution. We’ve got enough problems without new variables. Fortress defense isn’t the time for your games.
Teoritta peeked around Xylo’s side, her expression brightening with naive curiosity. Oh! Are you one of the new sentenced heroes too? You look so mysterious! Do you have a goddess partner already? Or… are you strong enough on your own? Xylo’s the strongest, but he was grumpy about partnering at first too! She offered a small, hopeful smile, clearly eager for praise or connection even amid the siege.
He stopped a few paces away, head tilting like a curious predator sizing up new prey. New one, Tsav said flatly, a faint, eerie smile tugging at his lips. Will you die fast? Or make it fun? I like when they fight back a little. There was no real malice in the tone just pure, unfiltered impulse.
You take off your cloaked to show your features and weapons
